International Flavor: Where the Truth Tastes Better
International Flavor: Where the Truth Just Tastes Better
International Flavor is a live, no-nonsense morning broadcast that takes you well outside the comfortable lies of Western mainstream media. Airing Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. (Central) on damradio.com/live, the show is then archived as a podcast at internationalflavor.com for listeners who want to rewind, re-listen, or share what they probably won’t hear anywhere else.
This is an international affairs and civil liberties show with teeth. We dig into wars, sanctions, regime-change games, color revolutions, BRICS, de-dollarization, energy politics, and trade disputes — always asking who actually benefits and who gets crushed. You’ll hear Russia’s side of the story in clear English, along with perspectives from China, the Global South, and dissident Western voices that polite TV panels pretend don’t exist. If you’re looking for a “Putin is evil, Washington means well” bedtime story, this is not your program.
At home, International Flavor turns the same harsh light on the American legal and political system: state bar politics, judicial “selection” commissions, agency overreach, back-room regulatory enforcement, Sunshine Law stonewalling, and the quiet ways people’s rights, businesses, and reputations get destroyed while everyone is told it’s “just procedure.” From Missouri’s bar and ATC battles to federal surveillance and speech restrictions, the show pulls case files, statutes, and real stories together and says out loud what most lawyers only say off the record.
It isn’t all geopolitics and courtroom trench warfare. International Flavor also looks at real estate, money, and everyday survival — from Florida and Missouri markets to international property and migration — and how politics, sanctions, and war ripple straight into your mortgage, your grocery bill, and your retirement. On other days, the program dives into language, film, music, and culture, often unpacking Russian-language interviews, songs, and movies, explaining the subtext Western coverage never bothers to translate.
Hosted in a direct, sometimes sharp tone, International Flavor doesn’t pretend to be “neutral.” It tests Western narratives against inconvenient facts, brings in sources that are usually filtered or banned, and lets listeners decide for themselves. No scripted talking points, no fake balance — just a consistent rule: if a story affects power, war, freedom, or money, we follow it until the mask slips.
If you’re tired of being talked down to, and you’re ready to hear the things you’re not supposed to hear — from Moscow to Miami, from courtrooms to conflict zones — International Flavor: Where the Truth Just Tastes Better is your morning habit.

Tonight on International Flavor, I opened with some personal news: my article hit Russian media, proving once again that bridges still matter more than boycotts. From there we dove into Lavrov’s Intervision press conference—music as diplomacy and culture as a counterweight to politics. Along the way we hit the Keystone pipeline and America’s “road to nowhere,” corruption at the top of the U.S. Navy, Macron’s surreal court battle, and Maria Zakharova’s blunt warning that Zelensky is killing Ukrainians with Western cash. Tonight’s International Flavor dug into the future of infrastructure — and America’s lack of one. Samuel Trapp and Matthew von Trapp explored Russia’s newly approved 4,500km high-speed rail network, contrasting Moscow’s determination with California’s endless “train to nowhere.” From safety standards and construction mismanagement to China’s 67,000km of functioning lines, the discussion exposed how U.S. politics and nepotism derail every serious project. Samuel also broke down India’s participation in Zapad-2025 exercises, the Western outrage, and what true strategic autonomy looks like.

In this episode of International Flavor: Where the Truth Just Tastes Better, Samuel Trapp dissects the EU’s 19th package of sanctions against Russia and asks the hard question: if sanctions worked, why do we need nineteen of them? From frozen assets in Brussels to Trump’s tariff threats, from India’s defiance to China’s booming alternative payment systems, the show explores how the West’s tools of financial coercion are unraveling global trust. Join the conversation as Samuel explains why money always finds a way—and why telling nations “no” only pushes them further away.

On this week’s International Flavor: Deep Dive Sundays, Samuel Trapp takes listeners through the West’s crown playbook — from Kosovo’s 2008 “independence trick,” to Ukraine’s 2014 Maidan coup, to today’s Bosnia where an unelected German “High Representative” rules like a king. With Lavrov and Dodik sounding alarms in Moscow last week, and Republika Srpska’s referendum already branded “illegitimate,” the parallels are impossible to ignore. Install the king, break neutrality, and seal it with recognition: the script never changes. International Flavor: Where the Truth Just Tastes Better.

Belarus frees 52 prisoners, Belavia gets a sanctions carve-out, and NATO panics as Russian drones wander into Poland. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s military bleeds out on the Pokrovsk front while Western commentators keep insisting Kyiv is “winning.” Colonel Douglas Macgregor calls it a strategic annihilation, Alexey Arestovich mocks NATO’s fragility, and Samuel Trapp ties it all together with bitter humor and raw commentary. Add in America’s polarized response to another political killing, and you’ve got one hell of a cynical stew. This is International Flavor—unfiltered, unvarnished, and just a bit twisted. Where the truth just tastes better.

In this episode of International Flavor, Samuel Trapp and Matthew Von Trapp confront the hypocrisy and brutality that define today’s headlines. They examine Israel’s bombing campaigns, Netanyahu’s defiance of global norms, and Hamas leadership shielded in Qatar while civilians suffer. The conversation shifts to Ukraine, where war’s toll continues, and then to America, where a subway stabbing of a young girl and the violent silencing of the voice of Charlie Kirk highlight the U.S. political divide, raising questions about truth, morality, and propaganda. This episode ties global events together with raw honesty, asking what future we are really building.

In Germany, seven AfD candidates die in two weeks. In America, Trump faces indictments instead of bullets. In Ukraine, opposition leaders are jailed, priests arrested, judges purged, and journalists silenced. Moldova and Georgia follow with their own Stalin-lite routines. From Clinton-style lawfare to gulag-style purges, “democracy” has become less about ballots and more about survival. This deep dive traces how governments clear the field of inconvenient challengers — whether with subpoenas, smear campaigns, or sudden funerals. Ask yourself: would you still run for office if the odds included death, disgrace, or gulag?
